Canterbury Royal A & P Show

The Canterbury Royal A & P Show was the last of the spring shows and attracted a record entry of 170 animals. A number of animals had suffered from the wear and tear of previous shows not to mention sweating from the summer heat and travelling long distances.Whilst there were a few surprises,
Silverstream animals still managed to place well in the championship.Silverstream won Junior Female, Senior Female and the Mature Championship and also won Reserve Junior Male, Reserve Senior Female and Reserve Mature Champion.
Silverstream First Lady our junior female champion surprised many including ourselves by then taking out SUPREME CHAMPION from an impressive lineup of champions.
Unfortunately Silverstream Faberge failed to continue his winning streak but still managed a gallant second behind Silverstream Flashdance in the junior male class.Overall a very satisfying show season and proof that our selection of imported dams were producing the results via their progeny.We now look forward to the next generation of progeny from our top stud male Jolimont Attitude.
