Welcome To Silverstream Alpaca Stud
Located 20 minutes north of Christchurch in the beautiful South Island of New Zealand Silverstream bred animals have won every major alpaca show in New Zealand. With a large herd of over 200 alpacas, Silverstream offer alpacas for sale to suit all budgets and colour preferences. Our stud males are available for inhouse and mobile matings and prices depend on the choice of sire and the number of services. We also offer agistment to alpaca breeders who are still establishing their farms.
Silverstream have their own licensed quarantine facilities and provide regular alpaca exports to the UK, Europe and Asia as well as alpaca imports from Australia.
By dealing with Silverstream, we can assist with the sale and export of your animal direct to your farm - take the hassle out of everything and deal direct with Silverstream.
Kit & Sheryl also operate two luxurious, self contained farmstay units on a bed and breakfast basis. Within 20 minutes of Christchurch Airport this is a popular choice. The units open out onto a patio that overlooks the alpacas housed in the nearby paddocks.
Consistency of results over different shows, judges and age groups is the mark of true champions.
Silverstream have consistently produced show winners who continue to win championships as they progress through the different age groups.
In total Silverstream animals have won a total of 41 Supreme Champion Huacaya titles including three National Champions in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
